Steps to Lose Weight

weight loss obesityDue to advancement in technology and innovation, the comfort of a human being is increasing and most of the work is done by robots or computers. Due to this sedentary life, the cases of Obesity are increasing day by day.

You must be knowing that obesity can lead to various dreadful diseases like Diabetes, Hypertension, Ichaemic heart diseases and more. So it is always necessary to prevent weight gain and if you are already obese, then follow following weight loss steps :

The ideal weight of a person is calculated using Body Mass Index scale. BMI of <25 kg/sq.mt is normal weight, BMI between 25-29.9 is overweight and BMI >30 is known as obese. So keep your weight below 25 BMI scale. Here are few of the steps to lose weight :

  • Take a balanced diet, take adequate calories and fat according to your lifestyle and age.
  • Avoid fried, fatty and junk foods.
  • Exercise regularly - atleast do workout for half an hour everyday.
  • You can do cycling, running, swimming etc.
  • Avoid using lift/escalator when staircase is available
  • Various weight loss diets are also available to help lose weight e.g. Fat loss 4 idiots

Even after above of the steps, the weight is not losing, then you should consult a dietician or physician. He may advice you weight loss drugs/pills or even weight loss surgeries like gastroplasty in case of morbid obesity.
