Many of us fill our bodies with toxins like caffeine (used to fuel our energy deficit), fumes (from smoking or breathing polluted air), we juggle between work, home and parties, junk food and alcohol (that comes with the season). The remedy to this is Detoxing, the process of cleansing one’s body system. What you eat is your first line of defence against toxic attack. By controlling the food intake and by choosing the right mix of food, one can gradually reduce the effects of toxic intake and improve the efficiency of your natural detox system. Things t0 remember:
- Drink plenty of water
- Have green tea
- Make sure you eat a wholesome breakfast
- Eat less fat
- Eat less sugar
- Eat more than five servings of fruits and vegetables a day
- Reduce caloric intake
- Be vegetarian as far as possible
- Eat chocolate – yes, you read it right – eat chocolate
Drink to your health:The perfect cleanser after a night’s hard partying..
- 5 carrots, chopped
- 1 apple, chopped
- 2 stalks of celery, chopped
- 1/2 beetroot, chopped

Children’s playground – about five minutes a day, that’s it. It doesn’t matter how often you go there or how long do you stay, the kids never seem to get bored of them. But in case you are destined to spend hours every week responding to the words, ‘Higher, Mummy Higher’ – you must start thinking to get something out of it. I am talking about the swinging rides that children love at the playgrounds.
Just half an hour of swinging or seesawing might have you fitter and pounds lighter in a matter of weeks. And if you are a bachelor don’t worry, borrow a child of your friend – she/he will be thrilled !
Use the swings
Get onto the swing and you will find it’s great at getting rid of flabby arms and all the while the resistance increases as the child grows.
What the move does:
It firms up your upper arms, tones your chest and removes the batwings.
This move can burn up to 40 calories in flat 10 minutes
The buggy dash
The fun need not stop over there. Try the buggy dash before you leave for you home and watch those pounds vanish away.
What the move does:
It firms up your thighs and bums
This move can burn up to 80 calories in 10 minutes
Burn the calories at the roundabout
The roundabout is magic for you as much as it is for your children. But for you to benefit out of this you must push it instead you climbing aboard and going dizzy.
What the move does:
It makes your legs work hard and since you are into a pushing mode it can tone your arms and shoulders.
This move can burn up to 60 calories in 10 minutes
Climb the frame:
Your fitness levels are all set to touch new height with you climbing the frame. Stretch, hand and lift !
What the move does:
The climbing, stretching and hanging works on your arms, shoulders and legs
This move can burn up to 120 calories in 10 minutes
Get on the seesaw:
The seesaw will see to it that the buggy bums are done away along with giving you some pleasure and fun. Get some more kids on the other side to make up the balance. The heavier the kids are the more working you are going to have.
What the move does:
It tones up your bottom, hips and thighs.
This move can burn up to 60 calories in 10 minutes

Hello the great blogsphere.
I have read and heard many times that around millions of new blogs are created daily. I think thats too much. What’s this blogs are actually and why they are created ? To explore this question, I am launching my Fitness blog. Though I never thought that it will be a blog, so the name is The-Fitness-Site instead of The-Fitness-Blog lol
Hope that don’t make much difference.
Looking forward for comments, suggestions and what topics you would like to read. Thanks, have a healthy and fit life.
